In the new construction of a cheese processing centre, the showers were fitted with special waterproof, fibre-reinforced lightweight concrete panels. The panels enable heavy-duty constructions, offer good sound insulation and achieve fire protection class F 120-A when used in two layers.

To ensure sterility, the laboratories in the new Biologicum at Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt needed to be constructed gas-tight. By using cement-bonded lightweight concrete panels combined with a PVC film as a gas-tight sealing layer, both the required tightness and necessary compressive strength were achieved.

For the new visitor center at the Dachau concentration camp memorial, a highly durable building material was needed for the interior fittings. Conventional gypsum fiberboards were chosen for their resistance to mechanical stress. In the canteen kitchens, where special requirements apply, cement-bonded and highly moisture-resistant boards were used.
